Dr. Belal Uddin Ahmed

Dr. Belal Uddin Ahmed, a distinguished entrepreneur and visionary leader, was born in a respected Muslim family in Fazilpur, Feni Sadar, as the third son of Late Ali Ahmed Bhuiyan and Late Sayeeda Jibun Nahar Begum. After completing his Master’s degree, he pursued higher academic excellence and was honored with a Gold Medal from India upon the completion of his PhD. His outstanding academic achievements, combined with dynamic leadership and vast business experience, have established him as a trusted name in the pharmaceutical and industrial sectors of Bangladesh.

Dr. Ahmed has been serving as the Secretary General of the BSCIC Industrial Owners Association of Bangladesh (Central Committee) and as the President of the Feni BSCIC Industries Owners Association. His commitment to social development is reflected in his long-standing engagement with the Rotary Movement since 1988. In recognition of his dedication, he was elected as the District Governor of Rotary International District 3282, Bangladesh (2020–21).

Under his leadership, Zenith Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has emerged as one of the country’s leading pharmaceutical companies, contributing significantly to the national economy. Bangladesh now produces around 98% of its domestic pharmaceutical needs, with exports to more than 125 countries worldwide. Zenith Pharmaceuticals, located in the BSCIC Industrial Estate of Feni, is equipped with a state-of-the-art Quality Control Laboratory, modern production facilities, skilled pharmacists, and chemists.
